About Just out of curiousity...

I know there are all types in the fandom, but I'm a bit curious.  How long do you like fanfics to be?  Epic novels of thousands and thousands of words?  Or teaspoon sized drabbles of a couple hundred or less?  I can see how both types are definitely appealing...  Me, I'm a role-player, and I like short bursts.  Anywhere from 100 to 500 words at a time is great for me.  I find reading something longer than that is hard... but I do it when I find things I really enjoy.

What about the rest of you?  How long do you like your fic?

I like my fic ...

... any way it comes, really. As long as it's Snarry. ;D

I prefer longer stories, that I can get lost in, and become fully immersed in a new imaginary world, but sometimes shorter fics are very effective. A ficlet or drabble can appeal just as much if it's well written.

Definitely. XD

They all have their places, don't they? From drabbles to novels, I love fanfiction.

A couple thousand words is usually good for me. All these 9087 chapter fics in this fandom sometimes blow my mind because I know I'll never get a chance to finish them.

I do get a little intimidated when I see a fic that's thousands of words long.
